Sega announced today, September 4, 2025, that it will be holding a closed beta of the fighting game Virtua Fighter 5 REVO World Stage between September 11 and 16. During the test, you will be able to enjoy online combat with cross-platform support on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Users interested in participating will have to register with a Sega Account and link it to the platform where they want to play. In the case of PC, the process is very easy, since you simply have to go to the game’s Steam page and click the beta button.
As has happened in other cases, such as the recent beta of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, it will not be necessary to pay for PlayStation Plus, for example, to play. The game will be released on October 30, 2025 in PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
