After being announced in the Nintendo Direct, Capcom confirms that Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection for Nintendo Switch will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show 2025. The game won’t be released until 2026, but it promises to be a lot of fun, given that it will not only include a large number of games but also offer exclusive features such as ranked matches.
This edition of the Mega Man Star Force saga revives the legendary offering that Capcom made on Nintendo DS to celebrate the now distant 20th anniversary of the Mega Man franchise. This means that it brings together all its games and versions. It’s worth remembering that each installment of Mega Man Star Force was released with different “colors,” in keeping with the Pokémon philosophy.

The gameplay will remain classic, but the game will allow two different viewing options for the two screens, given that it’s obviously not easy to adapt Nintendo DS games to a screen like the Nintendo Switch. Other new features include a gallery mode that brings together all the series’ music and artwork. Ranked matches will also be available, providing a new way for players to compete.
For the 2025 Tokyo Game Show, Capcom has confirmed that Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection will make its first global debut. Attendees will be able to try out three games: Mega Man Star Force Pegasus, Mega Man Star Force Leo, and Mega Man Star Force Dragon, starting from the story’s starting point. All players who try them will receive a free Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection the clear file that you can see in the image.
The game will be released in 2026 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
