Meta Quest owners can now mark an important date on their calendars: the release of Kamitsubaki City Under Construction Virtual Reality, scheduled for December 19th at a price of 5,300 yen. This virtual reality game will be available in the Meta Horizon Store and will be set in the Kamitsubaki Studio universe, featuring its most famous characters for an exciting adventure. It’s important to note, however, that the story is the same as the Kamitsubaki City Regenerate game released in March 2025, although now adapted to virtual reality. One of its great features will be the availability of more than 40 songs.
The game team has announced that, in Japan, there will be a Special Edition that will include exclusive items, although only 300 units will be manufactured. Reservations will begin on September 16th at 6:00 PM in Japan.

“Kamitsubaki City Under Construction” is an original IP project that Kamitsubaki Studio has been developing since 2019. The studio has expanded its music from VWP, a virtual artist group comprised of five members: Kafu, Rima, Harusaruhi, Isekaijo, and Sachi, into games and media mixes in various genres, including ARG, TRPG, and ADV. The game will be adapted into a TV anime for the first time in July 2025, and its ambitious blend of reality and virtuality, blending an actual live concert held in 2024 with a fictional story, has been generating buzz.
