Additionally, as usual, new in-game rewards and community events are being launched for players, ensuring that users are eager to delve into the latest offerings of the popular game. Along with this, a new HoYoFair Genshin Impact Fan Art Special Program is also being announced.
About Version Luna I
On September 10, 2025, Genshin Impact launched Version Luna I, ushering in a new chapter of adventure in Nod-Krai. With cross-progression and Co-Op functions, players can enjoy their adventure across PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Android, and iOS. The game has been rated T for Teen by ESRB on PS5, Xbox, PC, and Google Play, and 12+ on iOS.
Players who have completed Liyue’s main questline can immediately embark on the new Archon Quest in Nod-Krai, confronting mounting conflict with long-awaited characters by their side. In Nod-Krai, the Fatui Harbinger, “Marionette,” holds sway from her stronghold, while a plot to claim the moon’s power gradually comes to light. Along the journey, players ally with Lauma of the Frostmoon Scions, fight beside Flins against the Wild Hunt, and meet both new allies and familiar friends in Nasha Town — among them Dori, Nefer, and Jahoda. Players will also encounter Columbina, who has left the Fatui and returned to her birthplace in Nod-Krai, where she is revered as the Moon Maiden.
Three new characters from Nod-Krai will join the playable roster, some capable of triggering special Lunar Reactions. Lauma, the Moonchanter and a 5-star Catalyst wielder, introduces the new Lunar-Bloom Reaction with her Dendro powers. Flins, a 5-star Polearm wielder, channels Electro into powerful Lunar-Charged strikes. Aino, a 4-star Claymore wielder, can be recruited for free by progressing through the new Archon Quest. In Version Luna I, the first half of the Event Wishes will feature Lauma alongside Nahida’s rerun, together with a Sumeru-themed Chronicled Wish. The second half brings Flins, Aino, and Yelan’s rerun.
A range of new features deepens the connection between characters, story, and exploration of the open world, drawing players further into the world of Teyvat. Each new character in Version Luna I brings unique interactions that reflect their background and talents. When Lauma walks through her camp, the Frostmoon Scions bow in reverence. Her deep bond with animals allows nearby creatures to assist the party — offering healing, food, or precious ores.
Flins, the seasoned Lightkeeper, uses his lantern to sense the approach of the Wild Hunt and can even understand their cryptic whispers. Aino, the brilliant inventor behind the formidable enemy, “Knuckle Duckle,” unlocks exclusive interactions with this massive robot. Meanwhile, a new feature, “Meeting Points,” invites players to witness their companions’ everyday lives. From Lauma and Flins sharing tales of ancient legends, to moments of warmth between Ineffa and Aino, these vignettes offer a more personal view of the journey.
To celebrate both Version Luna I and Genshin Impact’s fifth anniversary, players can enjoy a bounty of special rewards. They can claim a free 5-star character from the Standard Wish, along with the ascension materials required to level the character up to Lv. 60. Players can also log in to receive Intertwined Fate ×10, Primogems ×1,600, two special Nod-Krai-themed gadgets via in-game mail, and more.
HoYoFair will host an anniversary celebration for the Genshin Impact community, featuring a return of the much-loved Genshin Impact Fan Art Special Program with a two-hour showcase of imaginative and entertaining fan-created videos.
