Developer MYU has announced that, as part of the Steam Next Fes, a demo of its visual novel Type-NOISE: Shonen Shojo will be available. This production, published by Dank Hearts, is aimed solely at adult audiences due to its combination of elements and its totally surreal approach.
The story of Type-NOISE: Shonen Shojo presents six teenagers who get lost in an alternate reality that is dominated by their traumas. Known as Noise Scramble City, this place inspired by Tokyo will become their worst nightmare, from which they can only escape by solving different puzzles. For them, the adventure will not be easy. They will have to face all kinds of obstacles and solve the puzzles that will help them get out of this particular mental labyrinth.
Each protagonist will have to face their own traumas and overcome what drags them in life to the grayest part of their soul. For example, Itsuki suffers from jealousy, Honoka from her paranoia, Hiyori from her vanity or Soto from codependency issues.
The demo that will be available from the 24th can be downloaded until March 1st and includes the first two chapters of the game. This means that players will be able to enjoy a good number of puzzles, different challenges and explore a total of three different segments. More precisely, we will put ourselves in the role of Zena and her arrival at this place where she will have to face her traumas and fears.
Type-NOISE: Shonen Shojo will be released this year 2025 on PC from Steam, but it still does not have an exact release date.
