Good news for those who were waiting to find out when the HUNTERxHUNTER: NENxIMPACT fighting game would be released on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. According to the statement issued by Arc System Works, the game will be available globally on July 17, 2025. Considering that, at the last Tokyo Game Show 2024, it was already available to try out and looked very good, we imagine that these months will have helped make it even more attractive.
We had the opportunity to try it out for a few fights and what we found, above all, was a combat system that was not as simple as one might have imagined. In addition, the experience varied greatly between characters, especially in terms of difficulty when performing special movements.
To get you ready, both Nintendo Switch and PS5 will have the game not only in digital format, but also in a physical edition. In addition, there will be a limited edition that will include: Full Game, Special Box, Booklet, T-shirt, Acrylic Stand, Season Pass, Alternate Costume Pack for Hisoka ＆ Kurapika and Tapestry.
It is important to note that this is the first game in the franchise, based on Yoshihiro Togashi’s manga, to be released worldwide. To celebrate the occasion in style, the game will feature a total of 16 fighters at launch. Not only will there be the heroes, but various characters from the anime will also appear.
