Back to the Future is celebrating its 40th anniversary and Japan has always proven to be a big fan of the film series. Because of this, the restaurant chain JS Burgers has announced a special campaign featuring exclusive Back to the Future burgers and products. They will be available at its locations in Japan from September 23rd to November 24th, 2025. In addition to celebrating the saga’s anniversary, it also celebrates the 25th anniversary of the burger chain, which is committed to bringing an American-style burger to the Japanese.
During the promotion, the restaurants will be decorated in a special way and there will be two exclusive burgers:
- Heavy Chicken Cheeseburger Marty Ver. – 2035 yen
- Crushed Beef Burger Biff Ver. – 2530 yen
The Heavy Chicken Cheeseburger Marty Ver. is inspired by two important aspects of the saga: Marty’s phrase “That’s Heavy!” and the scenes in which the protagonist gets angry at being called a “chicken.” Meanwhile, the Crushed Beef Burger Biff Ver. is a burger as greedy and rowdy as Biff’s character. It’s incredibly loaded, and it’s recommended to squash the onion rings inside against the meat as you eat. Both burgers come with a special Back to the Future bag.
As a special offer, interested customers can exchange the burger plate for a Frisbee from the film for 1,100 yen, randomly selecting three different models.
Additionally, you can also order the 1.21 Gigawatt Mint Vanilla Shake for 990 yen. This vanilla shake features two berry sauces, one sweet and one sour, and a popping candy on top that represents the moment the lightning bolt struck the clock tower. The topper includes the 40th anniversary event logo. Along with this, select drinks can also be ordered with an exclusively designed Stadium Cup for 880 yen.
Furthermore, starting October 23, three limited-edition handkerchiefs measuring 52 x 52 cm will be available for purchase at 880 yen. You can find more information about the collabo in the just launched special website.
