Arc System Works and Taito Corporation are collaborating on a highly ambitious project: the return of Bubble Bobble with a game titled Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons, which will feature very different gameplay. Launching on November 27 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Steam, it will offer a gameplay system where players will explore different rooms and encounter the imposing Castle stage.
About Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons
Arc System Works and Taito Corporation are pleased to present the “Castle,” a huge stage where players explore rooms that are connected like a maze in Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeon coming to Steam, Nintendo Switch & PlayStation 5 on November 27th.
Previous Bubble Bobble games featured a fixed screen where players progressed to the next stage after defeating every enemy in the stage. However, the Castle features multiple floors connected vertically and horizontally to form one huge stage. Players must use their wits to explore every corner of the castle, even when lost.
A unique boss awaits at the deepest part of the Castle. Collect treasure in the Dungeon stages, which change randomly after every start, strengthen Bub with skills & equipment, and reach the deepest part of the Castle.
In this game, Bub, the bubble-blowing dragon, embarks on an adventure through a strange dungeon that changes every time he steps inside! Use bubble actions to defeat enemies and use bubbles as platforms to move around and collect treasure!
Use the treasures you collect to strengthen Bub, learn new skills, and advance deeper into the stages! The “Castle”, a huge stage where you can explore the map and rooms that are connected like a maze makes its debut!
Also includes a port of the home version of “Bubble Symphony” released in 1997!
