The arrival of Persona 5: The Phantom X update 2.1 marks the debut of a summer event titled It’s Summer! It’s Swimsuits! SEA TIME! Part 1. Players of this game, available on PC, iOS, and Android, will be able to enjoy a completely original story, minigames, and new content to have fun with the characters.
Another new feature is the introduction of a new version of Motoha Arai known as Tropical, a 5-star character. There will also be other new features, which you can learn more about in the text published by Atlus.
About Persona 5: The Phantom X summer update
Sega Corporation has updated its popular mobile and PC game Persona 5: The Phantom X (hereafter “P5X”) to version 2.1 and will be holding a major event, “It’s Summer! Swimsuits! SEA TIME! Part 1”. This event offers a variety of content to enjoy, including a specially written story, a variety of mini-games, and a dramatic experience that will bring you closer to the main characters. Be sure to experience this seasonal event unique to the “Persona” series to the fullest.

In “It’s Summer! Swimsuits! SEA TIME! Part 1,” you can enjoy a special story and various mini-games with “P5X” characters dressed in swimsuits, set at a seaside school. Advance through the event story, challenge limited-time stages, and get great rewards such as “Free Crystals” and “Gold Tickets” that can be used for contracts (gacha)!

Content introduction
As you progress through the event story, you’ll earn rewards like the “Sunglasses RD” costume for the main character, as well as the event-exclusive item “Rare Seashells.” Collecting “Rare Seashells” can be exchanged for “Platinum Military Coins”, which can be used to replenish main character costumes and certain weapons. You can also enjoy new events by clearing event missions unlocked as you progress through the story.
Beach Anomaly – Summer Festival
Complete the event mission to challenge the limited-time stage “Beach Anomaly – Summer Festival.” First-time clear rewards include “Freedom Crystals” and “Enchanted Medals,” and in some stages, you can team up with the new 5★ character “Suwa Tropical.” Additionally, by teaming up with “Suwa Tropical,” “Arai Suwa,” and “Tanemura Riko” for battle, you’ll earn more rewards upon clearing certain stages.
Target Practice Challenge
By progressing through and clearing the event missions, you will be able to play the “Shooting Challenge.” Defeat the pirates that appear in the stage and obtain event-exclusive items such as “Rare Shells” and “Free Crystals”! As you clear stages, support characters will be unlocked.

You can enjoy special stories with “Arai Motoha”, “Tanemura Riko”, and “Luffel”. You can also earn “Free Crystals” and “Gold Tickets” by progressing through the story. Once you progress through the story to the end, you will be able to invite eligible companions to the “Fireworks Festival”.

Use the event-exclusive “Shakudama” item you’ve earned as a reward to create fireworks of various shapes! You can share the fireworks you create with friends who have completed the entire “Summer Memories” storyline, and depending on the number of fireworks you launch, you’ll earn development materials such as the “Phantom Thief Encyclopedia Complete Book” and “Hisashi’s Jewels.”
Furthermore, by clearing the event objectives, you’ll unlock new types of fireworks you can create, as well as obtain “Free Crystals,” the “That Summer Moment” frame, and the “SEATIME!” business card design.

A new 5★ character, “Sunaba Tropical” has appeared!
Subaru, a member of the Phantom Thieves who also appears in the main story, will appear in the “PICKUP Phantom Idol Contract” event, which increases the appearance rate of certain phantom thieves, as the 5-star “Subaru Tropical” dressed in summer attire.
