Although we’ve already told you about some of these games, it’s worth reviewing the information Capcom has provided about its future additional presence on Nintendo Switch 2. The Japanese company has some great games on the way to the Nintendo console.
During Friday’s Nintendo Direct, Capcom surprised viewers by announcing that Resident Evil Requiem will be launching on Nintendo Switch 2 alongside Resident Evil 7 Biohazard and Resident Evil Village on February 27, 2026. Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection was unveiled with a heartwarming new trailer and the reveal of the highly anticipated title’s release date of March 13, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Additionally, Capcom also announced Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in 2026.
More Resident Evil
Resident Evil Requiem made a surprise appearance during last Friday’s Nintendo Direct to announce that Resident Evil Requiem will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on February 27, 2026. The announcement came with a new story trailer that allowed players to delve deeper into the twisted web of terror Grace Ashcroft will face as she investigates the Wrenwood Hotel, while also showcasing new antagonists, weapons, and locations players will visit.
Set approximately 30 years after the Raccoon City outbreak, Resident Evil Requiem follows Grace on a new case in which the young FBI analyst must escape the horrors surrounding her and confront the tragic memories surrounding the death of her mother, Alyssa Ashcroft. This new era of survival horror is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on February 27, 2026.
On February 27, 2026, Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Gold Edition will also be released on Nintendo Switch 2, including the full game, the “Not a Hero” chapter, and all additional DLC. Resident Evil Village Gold Edition will also be available with the Winters expansion and the Trauma Pack.
