XSEED Games announced that they will publish the Mages developed Corpse Party Tetralogy Pack in the Americas, coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch system in 2025 after be available in Japan.
The collection of titles includes the entirety of the “Heavenly Host” narrative including these games:
- The modernized version of the haunting first adventure, Corpse Party (2021)
- The twisted sequel, Corpse Party: Book of Shadows
- Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko’s Hysteric Birthday Bash
- Corpse Party: Blood Drive, the chilling conclusion to the Heavenly Host saga.

Sweet Sachiko’s Hysteric Birthday Bash and Blood Drive will be the first time that these games are available outside of Japan. With the Tetralogy Pack, fans will enjoy these series filled with blood-curdling chills, nightmarish bad ends, and twisted narratives of desperate survival.
A standard physical edition is available for pre-order now exclusively via Amazon for an MSRP of $49.99. While digital editions of Corpse Party (2021) and Corpse Party: Blood Drive are currently available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch, additional details on the digital availability of Corpse Party: Book of Shadows and Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko’s Hysteric Birthday Bash will be provided at a later date.

Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion remains in active development at Mages. and is now expected to release globally in 2026. The development team is using the additional time to ensure that the next installment, introducing significant changes in perspective to enhance the immersive horror, lives up to the Corpse Party legacy and delivers the biggest frights yet. What’s more, the added time will also allow for the inclusion of a new PlayStation 5 version of the game to be released alongside the previously announced releases planned for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC via Steam. The dedicated Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion development team remains focused on the title while the Corpse Party Tetralogy Pack was developed by a separate team.

The release date of the horror adventure game Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, originally scheduled for 2025, has been postponed to 2026 to further improve the game’s quality. Although the game’s release has been pushed back from 2025 to 2026, the developers have some new news for players. For example, it’s been announced that the opening theme song for Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion will be performed by FRAM with lyrics by Asami Imai. The ending theme song will be performed by Asaka with lyrics by Mayumi Kaneko, while the last theme song will be sung by Asami Imai, who has been very active in the franchise in previous releases.
