TurretGirls goes on sale with playful camera angles and some intense action

Although Steam may be increasingly strict about managing its available games, TurretGirls goes on sale tomorrow, August 25th, with content that activates all the controls. To view it on Steam, you’ll need to have the ability to view sensitive content that may include nudity. The reason for this is that this game from Nanairo Enterprise, published by Dangen Entertainment and Game Source Entertainment, comes with gameplay that’s accompanied by a slightly naughty touch.

But it’s not just free spicy content, at least from what we’ve seen. In TurretGirls, a game defined as a mix between a tower defense game and a roguelike, the protagonist must fight until his last breath (and her last clothes) to save the world from an extraterrestrial force. The heroine isn’t a typical human, but rather part of the P.A.N.T.S.U. (Planetary Alien Neutralization & Tactical Strike Unit), so she knows exactly what she’s gotten herself into. Your mission will be to save the planet by ensuring that “the Superweapon” remains active defending the planet.

It’s not like the developers have put much effort into creating the lore around their story and character. She’s simply called “Girl,” the interplanetary entity is named after underwear, and the weapon is simply “the superweapon.” Not much to add on that note. When it comes to playing, the heroine will have to use her turret to defend the planet. And she does so because, in return, she’s been promised a hearty plate of “omurice,” one of the most classic dishes in modern Japan (rice with an omelet on top and ketchup, what you’d get at any maid cafe in Tokyo).

During the game, you can upgrade your turret, build a defensive line, change the superweapon you use, and fight tirelessly against the enemy hordes. Game reviews from Japan confirm that the images may even be too risqué to be published in the press, so you have to imagine anything.

Additionally, the game features a robust clothing-breaking system that causes the protagonist to lose parts of clothing as the battle progresses. In this regard, it’s important to note that the player can customize the protagonist’s clothing. Some of the customizable items include bras, underwear, and socks, with a multitude of designs and colors available.

Beyond all the fan service that TurretGirls offers, the reality is that it’s a fun and deeply engaging tower defense game. Its developers have implemented the roguelike philosophy because they know we’ll have no problem playing endlessly, especially given the many special cutscenes and animations that Girl have.

Unfortunately, some countries have blocked the game’s release, and it won’t be available worldwide.
