It will be on sale starting October 10 with Little Nightmares III, but can be obtained for free starting today by pre-ordering the third installment of the franchise. This version is enhanced with 4K 60 frames per second graphics, but importantly, players can choose between two modes: Quality Mode or Performance Mode, depending on whether they want to boost the visuals or prefer the best framerate. Technical improvements include RTX reflections, more developed particles, more realistic water effects, and other additions. Other small tweaks in the gameplay have also been made.
The price of the game when it’s released outside of the Little Nightmares III pre-order campaign is currently unknown. It’s also unknown whether users who purchase the physical version of Little Nightmares III will also be able to get it for free.
Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes
One last piece of news about the franchise: the future arrival of this new VR game. It’s titled Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes, and for now, there’s no further information beyond the teaser you can see below.
With this news, we now only need to know when Reanimal will be released. Some fans consider it the “real Little Nightmares III” because it was created by the team behind the first two Little Nightmares. It’s expected to be released in 2025.
