Spell Fragments will be in the TGS 2024 with great mix of game styles

Indie game developer Cocoro Software released new details for the demo version of their upcoming Steam game Spell Fragments, which will be exhibited at Tokyo Game Show 2024.

Spell Fragments is an interesting mix with roguelike TPS and magic-crafting elements where users create magic and conquer dungeons with big choice options. Also, is possible to team up with friends for cooperative play (1-4 planned) using crafted magic. Will be available in Steam for PC.

At Tokyo Game Show 2024, players will experience the core magic-crafting system of Spell Fragments and the thrill of dungeon conquest. This unique title combines a combat system where players create their own magic with roguelike elements. Every visitor who tries the game at Tokyo Game Show will challenge the dungeon with their own distinct, self-made magic.

Magic Crafting Tutorial

  • Learn the basics of creating magic using spell fragments.
  • Understand the combination of three types of elements: Triggers (magic activation
conditions), Spells (main magic effects), and Options (magic modifiers) through
    hands-on experience.

Original Magic Creation

  • The demo features over 50 types of spell fragments.
  • Utilize spell fragments obtained from enemies and treasure chests to create even more
    powerful magic.

Equipment Tutorial

  • Explore weapons that alter magic handling, armor and accessories that change
character stats, and items that restore health and mana.
  • Experience character and item level-up elements that reset with each playthrough.

Dungeon Conquest

  • Acquire Artifacts that synergize with magic on each dungeon floor.
  • Within the demo’s time limit, players can re-challenge the dungeon while partiallyretaining some items.

We will be in the Tokyo Game Show 2024, so we will try to step in Cocoro Software booth to play the demo.
