Phoenixx Inc. announce that the popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutants Unleashed, will be available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 from Thursday, December 5th in Japan. In addition, a packaged version will be released for Nintendo Switch, and pre-orders are currently being accepted at various retailers.

Join the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as they battle to protect New York City from a new threat. Is a 3D action battle game set a few months after the latest movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem released last year. Enjoy the unique world of animation, which combines warmth and street style with a strong focus on analog hand-drawn texture.
Join Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo as they battle their nemesis, the Shredder, and his Foot Clan across New York City to thwart their evil plans. Each character have unique ninja skills to defeat the enemies, getting each a own unique playstyle. In the game you will travel through familiar Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles worlds, including the sewers and streets of New York, helping citizens and of course delivering pizza.
In addition to single player battles, you can also play cooperatively with two people in local cooperative play so go and have fun on an adventure with your family and friends.
In other markets, the game will be released on October 18th and will feature a physical edition on more platforms than just the Nintendo Switch. Additional versions, such as the Deluxe or Collector’s version, will also be available. Whether or not Phoenixx will also end up releasing physical versions on other platforms in Japan remains to be seen. This would be a good thing, as it is often difficult to access games for children or kids on PlayStation family consoles. But the last Ninja Turtles game was already released in Japan exclusively for the Nintendo Switch, so it is possible that the same thing will happen again.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutants Unleashed price in Japan will be 6,578 yen, but some stores already have it in reserve a little cheaper, like Amazon.
